When you choose a portrait session “for you” you’re choosing to see yourself in a new light. Maybe you’re celebrating a milestone, updating your digitals, stepping into a boudoir experience, or simply giving yourself permission to exist in photos again. Whatever the reason, you deserve to be photographed with care and intention. My goal is to create images you’re proud of. Images that remind you of your strength and your beauty and your presence in this moment of your life.
Many people tell me they’re not photogenic. I hear it all the time, and I’ve even felt that way about myself. But here is the truth. Being photogenic is not your job.
It is mine.
It is my job to understand your angles and guide your expression and create a space where you feel comfortable enough to relax in front of the camera. You don’t have to know what to do. That part is fully on the team and I. I pose you. I direct you. I hype you up. I pay attention to the minor details that many people never notice in themselves. For many clients, the transformation starts long before the final images ever arrive. It begins when you see how good you look in your first outfit, or when the lighting hits you just right, or when you realize that you actually can look like this. That shift is powerful and it is one of the reasons I do this work.
Every session is personal. Some people want something soft and intimate. Others want something bold and expressive and fashion-inspired. Some want clean and natural digitals for an agency submission. Others want portraits that remind them they are growing and evolving, and that they are deserving of being seen by the world and by themselves. Whatever style calls to you, the promise is the same.
